I just fell in love with the idea of “linea tractare”. I think it’s actually a spell for turning things into puppets, but I turned it around and made her into a marionette, carrying her own strings. It fits well with the idea of humans using technology to create dolls in their own likeness, a theme that folds neatly into the steampunk genre. Original Article
